Curetex

Curetex is a comprehensive line of high-quality compression bandages for midline (lymph) edema and lip edema in the legs, hips and abdomen, chest and flank as well as the face and scrotum. By midline edema we mean edema along the middle axis of the human body. Curetex is easy and comfortable to use thanks to its many details and finesse. More about Curetex

Curetex products have soft and fine seams to avoid unnecessary pressure on the skin. The bandages are easy to put on and take off with a hook/eye closure or a zipper closure, an incentive for self-reliance. The closures have an underlying protective strip to protect the (fragile) skin.

There are two different qualities available within the Curetex range. The standard quality has a pressure rating between 25 and 35 mm/Hg and the Strong quality (lower body bandages only) has a higher pressure rating starting at 35 mm/Hg.

Curetex is available in several models in ready-to-wear and custom made with several options in beige, white and black.

Combining Curetex

The Curetex products can be combined well with other compression aids such as therapeutic elastic stockings or VaroCare leg bandages. The combination of these products enhances the effect of the compression therapy applied. The Curetex bandages can also be perfectly combined with the wrist materials in the VaroPad line. By wearing a VaroPad product under a Curetex product, the pressure is increased locally.

The material from which Curetex products are manufactured has the Oeko-Tex label. This mark indicates that the material of a product is produced in an environment that is safe for humans and the environment. It also indicates that the material does not contain harmful dyes and/or chemicals.

You can take our online training courses through our Learning Management System (LMS): a user-friendly learning platform with practice-oriented e-learnings that you can follow at your own pace.

Prefer physical lessons? You can! Varodem organizes various physical trainings on fixed dates and locations. Always with a strong combination of theory and practice, so you can immediately apply what you have learned.
